Job Description

Allied Universal Services is seeking the position of an Armed Security for Correction Institute in Clinton, NC.

Starting Base Pay:

Guard $21 / Hour

Must be able to meet all hiring requirements noted below for consideration

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  
  
  • Must be able to obtain a NC Armed Private Protective Services security registration
  • Must be licensed to possess and carry a pistol of 9mm or higher, while performing duties
• Must successfully complete a physical agility test including :
  
  
  • Run 1-1/2 mile run (within 17 minutes 30 seconds)
  • Pushups within designated timeframe
• Possess a valid driver's license in good standing for last 3 years
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
