We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Waste Water Operator (3M or 4M) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This exciting role offers an opportunity to play a pivotal part in our mission to maintain a safe and clean environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and operating waste water treatment systems and processes. You will be part of a team that emphasizes the importance of safety, efficiency, and compliance with environmental regulations. This is a full-time, permanent position that demands a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain waste water treatment systems and processes to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal operation.
  • Monitor and adjust control systems to optimize the performance of the waste water treatment process.
  • Collect and analyze samples to monitor process efficiency and compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Record and maintain accurate documentation of operations, maintenance activities, and regulatory compliance.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure safety and efficiency in all operations.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members in the operation and maintenance of waste water treatment systems.
  • Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Waste Water Operator in the manufacturing industry.
  • Possession of a valid 3M or 4M Waste Water Operator license.
  • Proven experience in operating and maintaining waste water treatment systems.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair waste water treatment equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
