Key Responsibilities:

• Primary duties include to load and unload trucks; organize and rotate inventory orders; monitor warehouse temperatures and assist in inventory reconciliation.
• Receive and process product orders, review inbound documentation, product receipt and reconciliation.
• Assemble and stage product orders for presale and onboard sales routes.
• Ensure proper food handling procedures.
• Organize and rotate product in warehouse cooler or freezer to prevent spoilage.
• Report and follow up Product Quality complaints and ensure the product is blocked in SAP and physically hold in the warehouse.
• Assist in weekly bad conditions reconciliation and upload documentation to the shared folder.
• Process and document product returns and disposal of outdated product.
• Report to warehouse management cooler and freezer repair requirements, material handling equipment maintenance requirements and pallet disposal and or acquisition.
• Monitor warehouse temperatures.
• Perform equipment inspections.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of five years of Warehouse Order Picker in a Freezer Environment.
• Knowlegeable in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
• Experience and certification with materials handling equipment and experience with order picking in food products.
• 80% of the time is spent working in the cooler pulling or picking product.
• Remaining 20% of time is spent on cleaning cooler & warehouse
• Must be bilingual - English & Spanish speaking

Equipment Used:

• Electric Pallet Jack (80-90%); Forklift (less than 15%).
• Forklift is used to remove pallets from 2nd & 3rd level shelves.
• Electric Pallet jack is usually used to pick products from shelves and racks.

Physical requirements:

• Able to stand for a full shift of at least 8 hours and climb up/down, in/out of truck body.
• Repeatedly lift and move 30 pound boxes/buckets on/off shelves or cart/hand-truck and also repeatedly turn, twist, kneel, stoop, stand, rotate, bend, push or pull

Education:

• HS Diploma or GED

Qualities Preferred:

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish reading, writing & speaking.
• Able to work in a cold environment of approximately 34&degree; F for prolonged periods of time.
