Job Description

San Bernardino County Regional Parks Department has a need for four (4) temporary lifeguard personnel to assist with waterslide testing on Friday April 26 2024 at Glen Helen Regional Park, located at 2555 Glen Helen Parkway in San Bernardino. The hours for this assignment will be 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. This will be a one (1) day assignment.

All candidates will be required to have current certifications prior to reporting on April 26.

• Certifications: All applicants are required to provide Lifeguard , CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), First Aid, and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certifications valid through September 2024. All required certifications must be completed prior to the first day of employment.

Requirement description :
Applicants must be at least sixteen (16) years of age. Note: An approved work permit will be required prior to the first day of employment if under the age of eighteen (18).

Strong swimmer with experience in a swim facility. Candidates who have participated in aquatic sports encouraged.
