We are looking for an experienced game programmer to join our growing team of passionate developers on an exciting project. This role offers the opportunity to lead our programming efforts on a brand new game Requirements Create, own and maintain game features from start to finish Gain a deep understanding of the game design and mechanics by working side-by-side with game designers Regularly refactor game systems to maintain a sane and flexible codebase Use rapid prototyping to test game design ideas Mentor other developers within the team and delegate tasks Become a major contributor to the overall quality and production process of the game Desired skills At least 5 years of industry experience with at least one shipped game Excellent programming skills, with a deep knowledge of several programming languages Maturity in software architecture, algorithms, data structures Deep understanding of the various stages of game production Interest in game design and game mechanics Good communication skills, with the ability to become a central point of contact on the project Personal or professional projects realized outside of Unreal Engine or Unity a plus What you can expect Shiro Games is a great environment to not only work but to share and create with : Spacious studio space based in Bordeaux ( no remote work ) Well situated neighborhood near numerous restaurants, pubs that play host to our regular staff social events Private healthcare (with option to add immediate family) Meal allowance Public transport costs covered at 50% Relocation package Salary will be based on profile Interested in joining the ride?
