Job Description
Spherion is seeking a seasonal tax preparer for a top firm in the Whiteland, IN area to assist them during busy season. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of experience, along with a solid understanding of tax preparation and tax software. Experience with LaCerte software is a plus, though not required. The temporary Tax Preparer will be assisting the firm through busy season, meaning tat lots of overtime will be expected on a weekly basis - this means great pay, but lots of hours! Shift:
1st week of training Mon-Fri 10am-2pm
Starting 2/3, Mon-Fri 9am-7pm,
Pay Rate: $20-$25/hr (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Accurately calculate and process client tax payments, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare, organize, and file necessary paperwork for clients in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide audit support by gathering documentation, preparing responses, and assisting clients during audits.
- Complete client tax documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
