We are looking for a driven and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic team in the energy industry. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including managing capital budgets, implementing new equipment, and troubleshooting. You will also be involved in tooling, ordering, and lean manufacturing processes. This role is an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in the energy field and contribute to a diverse and innovative team.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
2. Implementing new equipment and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
3. Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to tools and dies, punch, press, roll, sheet metal, steel, and struts.
4. Utilizing CAD software, such as AutoCAD, ProE, and Solidworks, to design and improve manufacturing processes.
5. Managing capital budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that projects are financially viable.
6. Ordering and maintaining inventory of necessary tools and equipment.
7. Applying Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to improve quality and efficiency.
8. Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Project Engineer position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the energy industry.
3. Proven experience with tool and die, tool/die, CNC Tool and Die, punch, press, roll, sheet metal, steel, and struts.
4. Solid experience in managing capital budgets and implementing new equipment.
5. Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
6. Expertise in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD, ProE, and Solidworks.
7. Strong knowledge of tooling and ordering processes.
8. Experience in applying Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
10. Strong organizational and project management skills.
