Job Overview: We are seeking a versatile PLC Programmer & Mechanical Technician to join our team. This dual-role position combines expertise in programmable logic controllers (PLCs) with hands-on mechanical skills to support, maintain, and improve our production systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial automation and have the mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Responsibilities: PLC Programming & Automation: Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for automated equipment and processes. Troubleshoot and modify existing PLC programs to improve system performance. Integrate and maintain control systems, including HMIs, sensors, and other components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve automation challenges. Ensure all control systems meet safety and compliance standards. Mechanical Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform mechanical diagnostics and repairs on production machinery and equipment. Conduct routine maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance equipment longevity. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify mechanical improvements. Assist in equipment installations, alignments, and calibrations. Maintain detailed records of mechanical and PLC-related maintenance and updates. $37 - $55 an hour latitude
