We are a family of three (two adults and a two-year-old) living in a three-bedroom apartment in the Flatiron district. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to help us maintain a clean and organized home on a weekly basis.
Job Responsibilities:
General Cleaning:
Thorough cleaning of all rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
Cleaning bathrooms (toilets, sinks, showers/bathtubs, floors)
Kitchen cleaning (counters, appliances, floors, sink)
Changing bed linens
Taking out trash and recycling
Deep Cleaning:
Assist with occasional deep cleaning tasks as needed (e.g., oven cleaning, fridge cleaning, window washing)
Household Tasks:
Light housekeeping duties as requested (e.g., laundry folding)
Arranging shelves, books, and decorative items.
Decluttering spaces (closets, pantries, or storage areas)
Restocking household supplies
Qualifications:
Proven experience in residential cleaning
Familiarity with cleaning products and techniques for various surfaces
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
Reliable and punctual with a consistent weekly schedule
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Flexibility and adaptability in following specific cleaning preferences and instructions by the family
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in a family setting with young children
