Oracle Database Administrator job at Diverse Lynx San Jose, CA, US

Job Description

Minimum 8+ years Experience in the Software Industry
Understanding of Software design patterns, SDLC, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
A drive to get things done in a highly collaborative and agile development environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Oracle database concepts and Architecture
Knowledge on Oracle Cluster Ready services (CRS), Data Guard, RMAN backup/recovery methods and maintenance of ASM
Oracle RAC administration and performance analysis
Overall system performance tuning
SQL Tuning, Wait Events, Histogram, Join Methods (Nested Loop, Hash Join, Merge join cartesian)
Index scan Methods (Range Index scan, Fast full index scan, Skip scan index methods)
AWR report, TKPROF analysis and interpretation
Troubleshooting Long running transactions and ERP concurrent requests
