Overview Abile Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an Oracle Database Administrator supporting an Intelligence Community Customer. The right candidate will possess the below skills and qualifications and be ready to handle all responsibilities independently and professionally. Responsibilities Ensures databases are operating efficiently and effectively. Supports database migrations and consolidations (ad-hoc and scheduled). Oversees database replication, which may include the setup for new replication activities. Develops Service Design Packages and maintains SOPs for all Oracle database systems. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulations, upgrading and optimizing the performance of Oracle Databases, and supporting future planning efforts. Configures environments for and in support of all Oracle database related aspects of user acceptance testing, functional acceptance testing, system-level testing, database security testing, installation/migration testing, configuration/compatibility testing, and performance, load, and stress testing, as well as support of systems assurance tasks. Qualifications Clearance Required: TS/SCI Degree and Years of Experience: 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D. Minimum of 10+ years of Database Administration (DBA) experience. Minimum of 8+ years database design including capacity planning, configuration, migration, performance monitoring, tuning, security, data recovery, and troubleshooting. Required Certifications: IAT III (CISA or CISSP) Oracle DB certification; Version 12 or above. Current ITIL Foundations certification. Desired Certifications: Oracle Certified Master certification. Required Skills: Proven general knowledge in virtualization and networking, and a working knowledge of MS Project. Proven experience ensuring compliance with all regulations, upgrades, optimizing the performance of all databases, and supporting future planning. About Abile Group, Inc.
