JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY OF POSITION Responsible for greeting and checking patients in and out of clinic, via in-person or on the phone. Schedules patient appointments, takes client payment information, filing and other front desk tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Maintains schedules of clinical staff.
- Entry and verification of client data
- Collects copayments
- Responsible for technology support for telehealth appointments
- Answers multi-line phone
- Registration of clients in the electronic medical record
- Excellent Customer Service to promote a service environments for individuals in need of behavioral health and/or co-occurring services that is recovery focused
- Research and verification of insurance benefits and knowledge to apply for alternative payer sources
- Prepare and scan documents to internal HIM
- Cross train and perform duties to cover neighboring locations
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES - Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
