Job Description

Trustpoint.One is pleased to partner with a large, reputable, and nationally ranked law firm in its search for a Billing Specialist. This is a direct hire, primarily remote, role out of the firm’s Philadelphia, Pennsylvania offices.

Primary duties of the Billing Specialist include but are not limited to:

• Posting time;
• Preparing files for billing, generating pre bills, and editing attorney time;
• Reviewing pre bills per relevant guidelines, processing final billing, and creating and maintaining billing rates;
• Setting up new files on electronic billing sites and submitting invoices to electronic billing sites;
• Other duties, as needed.

The successful Billing Specialist will have:

• 3-5 years of billing experience within a law firm setting;
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail;
• Ability to prioritize workflows;
• Experience with electronic billing sites (LSS, Legal Exchange, Legal X/Allegiant, Collaborati, etc.) required.
• Specific experience editing text files, adding timekeepers, budgets and rates to bill sites, reviewing billing errors, and updating files, as needed.
• Experience working with attorneys and clients and keeping accurate client matter information.

All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time. Infrequent lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds.

Salary Range is $70-75k, commensurate with experience; comprehensive benefits package.
