Kluh Jewelers is looking for someone who is energetic and committed to creating unforgettable moments that leave lasting memories. Our ideal candidate will have retail jewelry sales experience and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. They are self-starters with excellent people skills who love jewelry and develop strong customer relationships while maximizing sales performance as a jewelry expert. They work well independently as well as in small, close-knit teams, and prefer working in a non-corporate environment where everyone’s ideas are valued.
Compensation:
• $40,000+ yearly with Commission, Bonus, and Benefits
• Base Pay + Commission
• Bonus/Spiffs
Final pay determination will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience levels, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities:
• Selling merchandise and services to meet/exceed individual and team sales goals.
• Providing sales presentations based on the features and benefits of our products and services.
• Creating business through various methods of clienteling with new and existing customers.
• Cultivating an in-depth knowledge of our products to provide the best experience possible for our customers.
• Assisting with maintaining an accurate inventory of all merchandise and ensuring merchandise security.
• Working 1-1 with clients through the design process to create custom jewelry items.
• Welding permanent jewelry custom bracelets, anklets, and necklaces onto clients.
• Responding to customer inquiries as well as investigating and resolving customer issues.
• Posting on Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms to showcase customer interactions.
• Delivering exceptional service with each interaction to ensure a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Building rapport with customers through greeting, discovering customer needs, and providing expert knowledge.
• Maintaining safety and ensuring the security of merchandise.
• Contributing to a positive and respectful work environment of teamwork and cooperation where associates work together to achieve store goals.
Performing day-to-day store operations including but not limited to: • Opening/closing procedures.
• Using a POS system to enter & process customer orders/returns.
• Buying/selling jewelry.
• Managing inventory.
• Processing special orders.
• Evaluating jewelry for repair.
• Arranging merchandise to promote sales.
• Handling basic repairs including replacing watch batteries.
• Ensuring the store is neat, clean, and organized throughout each business day including cleaning floors, countertops, display surfaces, merchandise, etc.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of jewelry sales, retail sales, and/or customer-facing experience required . Hospitality industry experience is preferred if the applicant does not have sales experience.
• Must live within 30 miles of Lacey, WA to be considered for this position. • Outgoing personality with an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Goal-oriented and sales-driven with a passion to exceed the expectations of clients and the needs of our company.
• Strong computer, typing/keyboarding, and data entry skills; aptitude to effectively and efficiently navigate through all computer systems.
• Excellent with customer communication, follow-up, and general project management.
• Ability to demonstrate a genuine desire to assist and celebrate life's special occasions with clients.
• Creative with jewelry design; able to visualize customer vision and make suggestions.
• Capable of handling multiple projects/tasks at a time as well as working with others to accomplish tasks.
• Genuine willingness to learn and desire to continually develop sales skills and knowledge of products and services.
• Responsible, Dependable, Professional, Honest, and Self-motivated.
• Exceptional organizational, listening, and verbal/written communication skills are required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time. This role requires bending, reaching, twisting, stooping, and lifting objects up to 25 lbs.
• Flexibility and willingness to adjust to scheduling needs, particularly for store events and during retail peak seasons.
• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
