Make a difference, work with the best, and grow with us!About the Program Our 12-week PLOT Internship Program gives you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while focusing on a key project. You'll conduct in-depth research, apply your skills, and present your findings directly to leadership. This is more than just an internship-it's your chance to make a real impact, build industry knowledge, and sharpen your abilities in a dynamic, results-driven environment. Successful completion of the PLOT program can also earn you a scholarship between $1,000 and $3,000! Give me more information! As a Wilbur-Ellis Agriculture Sales Intern, you'll gain experience in field scouting and agricultural technology for mapping with AgVerdict, learn different aspects of the sales cycle and different techniques used for agricultural sales, be a crucial part of our day-to-day activities, and much more. You'll have the chance to share your creative, new ideas with the team, provide your unique point of view, and make a difference. At the end of your internship, we'll ask you to submit a final PowerPoint presentation of your internship experience.What should I bring to the table?As an intern, we understand you may not already have a world of experience under your belt! We would love to have a college student majoring in Agriculture, Plant Science, Ag Business, or a related field and a background in agriculture operations or agricultural sales, but this is not required! Overall, we are looking for someone with excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills, the ability to manage their time and skills effectively, a self-starter excited to discuss their own ideas, and brings their full self to work each day! We want to help you grow - and we want to learn from you, too.Anything required? Ability to bend, kneel, walk long distances, and operate company machinery within state laws and company guidelines.Comply with company safety standards, including a clean driving record.Willingness and desire to work overtime hours and occasionally Saturdays during busy seasons. Compensation and Benefits: In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $14.28 to $17.84 per hour. Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
