Job Title: Systems Engineer - Flight Controls 

DO-254 Compliance Test Engineer

Location: Remote

Summary: We are seeking a Flight Controls Development Engineer to support the design, development, and qualification of flight control systems for the 777X and MAX aircraft. This role involves working with cross-functional teams to ensure system requirements are met.

Will be responsible for ensuring that all test processes align with DO-254 requirements. This includes working with lab teams and providing oversight for verification and validation (V&V) activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine system requirements for flight control systems.
• Work on the design and integration of control systems, coordinating closely with certification teams.
• Perform system qualification tasks, including documentation and reporting to meet DO-254 standards.
• Provide technical guidance to support the overall Flight Controls development lifecycle.
• Conduct DO-254 compliance testing on hardware and software systems in the Flight Controls domain.
• Prepare and document test plans and procedures to ensure that all tests meet regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve any issues arising from compliance testing.
• Review and maintain compliance documentation for certification purposes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience with Flight Controls development and certification.
• Strong understanding of DO-254 compliance and system requirements management.
• Strong background in V&V processes and test documentation.
• Proficiency with aerospace testing and regulatory compliance standards.
