We are seeking experienced Flight Controls Engineers to join our team in developing and refining cutting-edge flight control systems. This role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including functional decomposition, general integration, and updates to control laws.

Flight Controls is currently considered a critical skill area, with a high demand for expertise in certification/safety, system-level verification testing, and DO-254 (AEH) compliance activities.

• Prefer prior experience in completing Flight Controls Systems fault tree work. Need engineers familiar with CAFTA to finalize and review fault trees from suppliers and merge into Boeing Faul Trees. Engineers need to have general safety analysis experience and familiarization with Flight Controls System Architecture.
• Prefer a mix of flight controls experience engineers to work functional decomposition, general flight controls integration, or control law updates. A portion of the engineers will be used to support qualification report review and generation for qualification testing Boeing has performed.
• Flight Controls Engineer who can perform lab hardware/software in the loop testing for 777-9. Lab test SMEs or others with capacity to quickly get up to speed with FC lab test tools and processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in flight controls development, with a strong foundation in functional decomposition, system integration, or control law development.
• Familiarity with qualification testing and documentation standards.
• Ability to work effectively on a multidisciplinary team and support both development and verification activities.
• BS degree in Aerospace engineering or related fields

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work on large commercial or military aircraft flight control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in report generation and review.
