We are in search of a full-time Art Gallery Sales Consultant . Applicant should love art, however due to a conflict-of-interest please do not apply if you are an active artist.

Job Description

• Sales of original fine art and jewelry. This includes but is not limited to in person sales, phone, and email sales.
• Following up with clients and possible leads by phone or email.
• Maintaining Gallery displays with signage, artist biographies, and general organization and cleaning.
• Packaging smaller artwork and jewelry.
• Assisting with our twice Annual Artist Shows.
• Additional projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Personable and Friendly! Applicant should love talking to people in person and on the phone. 90% (or more) of this role is talking to clients.
• Retail or Customer Service experience preferred. The right individual for this position will be business oriented AND sales driven.
• Business Professional Dress Code required.
• Applicant should love art, however due to a conflict-of-interest please do not apply if you are an active artist or aspire to become a working artist in your future.
• Be physically fit to help move artwork in and out of viewing rooms, and be physically able to stand on your feet for the majority of the day.
• Applicants must be able to communicate with professionalism, clarity, humor and intelligence.
• This individual should have LOADS of personality, enjoy talking to people, have a fun and friendly personality, maintain a high level of energy, and present a professional appearance and composure.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite. Some experience with Quickbooks and Adobe Photoshop a plus, but not required.
