We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled Business Law Attorney to join our legal team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of business law matters, including commercial real estate, commercial leases, transactions and disputes, land use, entity formation, and business sale agreements. In this role, you will provide legal advice and guidance to our clients, ensuring the utmost level of service in helping them navigate complex business law matters.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice on a range of business law matters, including commercial real estate, commercial leases, transactions and disputes, land use, entity formation, and business sale agreements.
- Draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts and agreements.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on their legal rights and obligations.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitration, and mediation sessions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and objectives to provide tailored legal advice.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in business law to ensure compliance and mitigate potential legal risks.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to our clients' legal needs.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 6 years' experience in business law, specifically in areas such as commercial real estate, commercial leases, transactions and disputes, land use, entity formation, and business sale agreements.
- Membership in good standing with OR State Bar
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound legal judgments.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
