Superintendent Exterior Finishes

Fort Lauderdale, FL, United States (On-site)

Scott Humphrey has partnered with a growing General Contractor in the Ft. Lauderdale area to assist in finding their new Superintendent of Exterior Finishes as the organization continues to expand. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all exterior finishes activities, ensuring that projects are executed according to specifications and safety standards. The Superintendent will also manage daily operations, coordinate with subcontractors, and monitor project budgets and schedules to ensure timely completion. Additionally, this role will involve preparing progress reports and collaborating closely with project managers to achieve overall project goals.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all exterior finishes-related construction activities from inception to completion.
• Supervise daily project operations and ensure that work is executed according to contract specifications.
• Transition projects smoothly from the estimating team to the execution phase.
• Manage budgets, contracts, materials, and equipment specific to exterior finishes projects.
• Lead a team with a strong growth mindset, fostering collaboration and communication.
• Commit to safety, quality standards, scheduling, and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare contracts and coordinate on-site activities to ensure quality control and monitor costs.
• Collaborate with other Superintendents, vendors, and the procurement department to ensure accurate material coordination for exterior finishes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on exterior finishes such as siding, stucco, and other cladding materials.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain focus.
• Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of costs associated with exterior finishes projects.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on sequencing and order of operations.
• Proficient with computers and technology, including project management software.
