Quanterix is revolutionizing biomarker analysis to advance precision health, leveraging Simoa technology for ultra-sensitive protein detection. This transformative technology aims to enable earlier disease detection, better prognoses, and precise treatments, with the goal of significantly improving quality of life and longevity. ROLE SUMMARY:
Quanterix is looking for an innovative Chief Technology Officer (CTO) experienced in building new technologies in a lab environment. This key role demands a leader adept at pioneering new developments to drive growth.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Lead a team to develop new technologies
Drive strategic growth by establishing and nurturing partnerships with a diverse network of laboratories, creating pathways for the expansion and deployment of instruments into these facilities.
Inspire and motivate to achieve ambitious business goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Develop technology roadmap and platforms synergistic to existing ultra-sensitive SIMOA technology
Represent the company at various technology meetings/conferences
Technical advisor on inorganic opportunities
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
PhD in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Molecular Biology or Biomedical engineering
Life Science tools industry experience
15+ years of technical experience to include previous leadership roles
People Management experience
Experience shaping a Technology Roadmap, developing concepts and building to commercial product
Track record of innovative and impactful research

Work from Billerica, MA, laboratories; 5 days a week
Entrepreneurial or start-up experience preferred
