Job Description: Job Description: Driving a pickup truck pulling a 30 ft trailer, flatbed which requires them to strap down their own loads. -automatic. (hot shot driver) Class A driver needed. Driving and delivering when needed. but warehouse duties are required. Warehouse: pulling, staging orders, stocking and housekeeping as necessary. Deliveries are 150 miles at the most for the furthest delivery and not on the daly most are local.
Pay rate will be discussed during interview and offer will go out based on experience.
Must haves:
Flatbed experience and able to strap down their own loads
Warehouse background
Class A driver
Must be 21 years or older!
All drivers must hold the required state-issued self-certification designation of non-excepted interstate and provide proof. All drivers must hold at a minimum a valid Class B Commercial Driver s License.
All drivers must have at least one (1) year of driving the class of vehicles they will be
driving while assigned to Enterprises, Inc. All drivers must have had a CDL for
minimum of one year.
In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties as requested by branch management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operations.
Responsibilities:
Deliver materials to the customer, which includes assistance with loading and unloading and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
Follow all DOT (Department of Transportation) standards and regulations
Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
Ability to work overtime as needed
Job Functions:
Deliver materials by the time scheduled by your supervisor.
Validate directions.
Unload or assist in unloading material as required.
Ensure that material is properly secured and within weight limits.
Ensure delivery of ticket with material and obtain customer signature.
Communicate with your supervisor throughout the day.
Pick up customer returns and validate that product matches request for credit.
Pick up local-pickup purchase orders.
Secure and return packing list(s).
Verify all material has been unloaded and placed at the delivery site.
Verify the customers signature on the delivery ticket.
Print name next to signature if necessary.
Review delivered orders with the supervisor for completion, accuracy, and format.
Return all delivery ticket copies to warehouse and verify that none are missing.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) standards and regulations.
Fuel the truck as necessary.
Report any vehicle problems, moving violations, accidents, and defects to the supervisor Compliance with company uniform policy.
Assist in warehouse as necessary.
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times ensuring quality customer service.
Abide by all polices, rules, and regulations of the company including all applicable safety rules, regulations, and procedures.
Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company.
Work overtime as needed.
Class A can operate any vehicle with a semi-trailer or trailer with two or more axles.
This group also includes any combination of vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating greater than 26,001 pounds, provided that the gross vehicle weight rating of the towed vehicle is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
Comments for Suppliers: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm lunch breaks will be discussed during interview and overtime possibly available daily depending on deliveries.
