Job Summary:

Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a local client to aid in the search for their next Bookkeeper. This position will report directly to the Senior Accountant and will be responsible for full-cycle accounts payable, full-cycle accounts receivable, and assisting with payroll. The ideal candidate can work well with others and has strong organizational skills. This is a hybrid position that will necesitate multiple days on-site each week in their DC based office. Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record Keeping: Document and monitor financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and receipts. Track and manage outstanding accounts and follow up on overdue payments.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements with company records to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Data Entry: Enter financial data into accounting software, maintaining up-to-date and accurate records.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial records.
