Backwoods Coffee in Fairbanks, AK is looking for baristas to join our strong team. We are located at 1780 Peger Rd and 365 Fairhill Rd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, friendly, punctual, self motivated, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs and company policy/recipes
• Prepare hot and cold food in accordance with customer needs and company policy/recipes
• Handle money and balance the register
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Maintain clean and tidy personal hygiene
• Follow health and safety guidelines (Alaska food code, and company policies)
• Interact with customers regularly and professionally
• Maintain a positive and healthy work environment for customers and coworkers
• Complete daily and weekly tasks in a timely manor

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a barista is preferred but not required
• High integrity
• A great attendance record
• Reliable Transportation
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Ability to adapt and find appropriate solutions quickly
• Applicants must be 16 years of age or older at time of interview, some positions/shifts applicants must be 18 year of age or older at time of start

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts on Sundays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Compensation is $11.73 - $18.00/hour.
