The Studio team is a full-service creative agency that supports the PepsiCo Beverages North America business, working on iconic brands like Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Bubly, Mug, and Starry. The Studio Team is in search for an Associate Editing Director. Reporting to the Director of Production, the Associate Editing Director (Video Shooter and Editor) will work closely with the PepsiCo Studio creative and production teams to help plan, produce, act as video shooter, director and edit projects for PepsiCo brands and partners. Responsibilities Video Shooter Services For pre-production, ensure proper execution of internal and consumer-facing creative. During shoots, ensure all set up and break down of set design, props, and equipment including, for in-studio shoots, coordinating with the building and freight for load in, and break down. Shooter is responsible for tracking, organization, maintenance, and upkeep of video and lighting equipment both owned and rented by the studio. Post Production Services Manage post-production duties, including editing, motion graphics, special effects, music, audio, and maintaining overall work quality. Liaison with internal brand partners on all phases of work, collecting feedback for notes, provide revisions and creative options throughout post-production phase. Confirm all deliverables meet needed specifications. Provide quality control, revisions, and social optimization according to project needs. Ensure that all finishing processes are followed to specifications and deadlines and archived for future needs. Organize and archive projects according to Studio processes. Other: Support the PepsiCo Studio in production and creative development as needed. Partner with other Studio production resources to evaluate ways to improve the production process and output of the studio. Compensation and Benefits The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 - $178,100. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Qualifications Proficient understanding of Red Digital, SONY A7S Cameras various DSLR cameras. Proficient understanding of lighting equipment. Proficiency with running audio on set- setting up boom mics and lavaliers for talent. Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro. Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite applications, including a strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects. Photoshop a plus. Familiarity with audio mixing and color grading/correction also a huge plus. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in Film/Art/Photography. 4-6 years minimum experience in production and shooting. Solid technical camera operating skills. Skilled in lighting multiple setups: 3-point lighting, seamless lighting, high and low key lighting. Excellent editing skills and time management capabilities. Solid understanding of story structure and story-telling skills. Strong understanding of various social media platforms and creating content authentic to each platform. Ideal candidate will be tech savvy and knowledgeable about up-and-coming aspects of film and video production. Expert communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
